Repeal the ban on Sunday Hunting in Pennsylvania!

Pennsylvania is one of 11 states where hunting on Sunday is restricted or prohibited.  These states are still the victims of antiquated prohibitions that date back to old blue laws enacted in the 1700's.

The majority of states across America allow a broad range of Sunday hunting opportunities.  Unfortunately, hunters in Pennsylvania can only pursue foxes, crows and coyotes on Sundays and are denied the hunting opportunities that so many hunters and families have in other states. Change is long overdue.

In order for Sunday hunting to become reality, all hunters must work together. It's critical for hunters to regularly contact legislators about this outdated law that is denying sportsmen time afield with their friends and family. Please sign this petition TODAY, as well as urge family, friends and fellow Pennsylvania hunters to do the same. Call upon your legislators to promote Pennsylvania's proud hunting heritage.

    Hunting on Sunday is O. K. with me . I hunt ducks & geese & a lot of other states have 7 days a week hunting . If you can fish 7 days a week why not hunting ? If in certain regions in the state that need it to cut back like they do for deer and bear I’m for it. The same with small game if in certain regions that you need to cut back on the season then let’s do it. But I’m still for the seven days a week of hunting. We are way behind times compared to the other states in the United States. Let’s get with the program and up to standards throughout the whole United States where we should be.

    it would be nice to hunt on Sundays to to pure fact it gives us more of an opportunity to do what we enjoy. Nothing bad about it either just gives everyone extra day to meet their tag limits.

    Sunday hunting in PA is long overdue! Just still can’t fathom that a state legislature justifies telling private landowners they can’t partake in an activity on a given day of the week that is permitted the other 6 days. It defies logic to me.
