Arcola celebrates its heritage as the “Broomcorn Capital of the World” with the Annual Broomcorn Festival. Visitors can see broom making, activities, arts and crafts vendors, free entertainment, participate in a 5K and 10K race, enjoy great food, and a gigantic parade with our local, famous Lawn Rangers! Come out for the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department & Ducks Unlimited HUNTERS BASH on Saturday, September 12th from 12 noon until 4:30 PM at the Calvert County Fairgrounds.
