Election Day is upon us, don't miss your chance to take part in the most historic election in our lifetime! Throughout the day on November 8th, Frontlines Volunteers will be engaging voters in numerous ways, and there are opportunities for everyone to help. Please see below for all the different election day activities, and make sure to RSVP to reserve your spot!
We will be hosting a Phone Bank all day to Remind people to vote for the Second Amendment this year, and to help people get to their voting locations! Even if you can only give an hour or two of your time, we would love to have you join us!
Volunteers will be door knocking from 2pm - 5pm on election day across Roanoke city and county. This will help gather up the final remnants of people who are still undecided in time for the polling locations closing by 7pm. It will also serve as a reminder for those that need assistance getting to the polling locations.
From 9am - Noon, and again from 3pm - 6pm, staff and volunteers are organizing a Driving Campaign. Drivers on election day are critical, as it helps those voters who may be disabled or not have a vehicle get to their polling locations! We will have designated pickup and dropoff locations, along with target precincts. Each driver will receive a $25 gift card to reimburse for gas during the day.
Volunteers will be posted at target precincts across Roanoke city and county to greet voters on their way into the polls and serve as our final point of contact. This will occur all day, and volunteers will be split into teams to man the polls. These volunteers will be responsible for passing out literature and stickers in support of endorsed candidates so that voters have these leaders on their minds when they make their decisions!
