Your NRA is supporting pro-gun legislation in North Dakota that would allow any law-abiding individual who can legally possess a firearm to carry a handgun for self-defense without having to first obtain a permit to do so. House Bill 1169, introduced by Rep. Rick Becker (R-7), will make the current permitting system optional to allow citizens to obtain permits to take advantage of reciprocity agreements with other states.
